At the sunny summer apartment on King Ave some doves lived in the window...life was good. Cinnamon came over to watch Clerks and Daughters of the Dust...I started riding my bike to work.

Glass dolls and broken things out of order

Susan and Dan got married...I broke up with Steve by the drainage ditch on Forest Mont where we used to play as kids afterschool...tears poured out like a broken water main...Kathy Gluntz talked me into signing up for Richard Harned's Hot Glass Working class at OSU...King was there too...She was a star...On my lunch hour from longs I went to Lisa Gonzale's modern dance class across the street...Jon and I moved in together in the attic of the big house right behind the bookstore...He made fresh ravoli in the shape of fish...and origami...lots of origami and chess.

1995: Hot Glass, modern dance,and herpies

Still living in the drafty apartment with Keri and the cats, the apartment was still furry, only now Jon was sometimes sleeping over on the $50 twin futon from waterbeds and stuff. We told each other our dark secrets. He bought a roll of plastic and covered our western wall. That helped a lot. We both got very very sick that spring. We were both working at Long's and had good insurance and went to a doctor on high street who gave us free samples of famvir or something like that. In May the lease was up...Keri moved across the street...I found a place on King ave...my own place with a shared bath and a balcony...it was great it was sunny...I planted things...Jon decided to move in. July 4th I was at my Dad's mom's house trying to show her how to get on the information superhighway. Grandma J was a superb typist. I was not. We clashed. I walked out...without a wallet...walked to the Olentangy Riverlost my shoes...turned south...kept walking...spent the night in a utility company truck...called jon...drew a big spiral in the sand of a baseball diamond...and wrote something like "build me a home". This could be called strange. Jon and Cinnamon found me and drove me to his parents house. eventually I was admitted to Riverside Hospital...strapped to a gurney.
